Thanks to the Quality System certified to the IFS and BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, with procedures of control on the entire production process, Citres guarantee respect of the highest food safety standards, purity and traceability.
The aim of these standards is to provide a common base, recognized and accepted by the international retailers and food industry, with which to guarantee the quality and hygienic performance of the manufacturers.
In 2020 Citres has been approved the annual audit with excellent scores, the 99.18% for IFS Certification and result of AA for BRC Certificate.
Citres undertakes to analyse and monitor the everyday activities of the Company and the people involved in it, lowering environmental impact throught a growing number of GREEN-ORIENTED actions.
They have improved a number of industrial processes and stages, recycling the support of our labels, using solar power, reusing process water to cool the pasteurizer, using process waste to produce biogas, implementing sorted waste collection, eliminating take-away plastic, applying packaging solutions that facilitate the reuse of the materials, for example by making the label easier to remove.
